Four Questions with Patricia Pereira, Supply Chain Specialist

How would you describe your role at Avnan?

As Supply Chain Specialists, we are the main point of communication between our customers and our factories. I am responsible for understanding customers’ requirements, and ensuring suppliers deliver our products as per customer Patriciaexpectations.

What is your favorite part of working at Avnan?

In the two years I have been working with Avnan, I’ve always had the opportunity to have open communication with managers and co-workers. Our people are always there to listen and to provide any help or support when needed.

Avnan also offers flexibility by giving us the opportunity to manage work and other responsibilities.

What is your favorite way to unwind outside of work?

I have been designing and creating handmade jewelry for years, so in my free time this is what I do the most. I also love DIY projects, exercising, and I’m a Zumba lover. Spending time with my husband and friends is also very important to me.

What advice would you give someone just starting at Avnan?

  1. To learn from the experts. We have people who have been working for years at Avnan, who will provide a lot of information and knowledge that will help to make your work easier.
  2. To always think outside the box. Be resourceful by trying to find different and more efficient ways to get the same, and even better, results.
  3. Last but not least, stay positive! We focus on solutions instead of problems. 😊
