Four Questions with Paul Chamourian, P.Eng. – Account Management

How would you describe your role at Avnan?

The most important part of an account manager’s role is to relentlessly be the voice of the customer within the organization. Paul ChamourianAlthough I’m certainly not the only direct conduit to the customer, it’s my responsibility to listen to, understand, and anticipate their overall needs. Coupling this with continuous internal communication ensures that our entire team is aligned and executing to those expectations. Demonstrating Avnan’s value and making things easier for our customers is something I take very seriously. It’s extremely gratifying to see our solutions come to life for the customer, whether it’s a new design/product, a supply chain idea, or a simplification of their operations.

What is your favourite part of working at Avnan?

Without question, it’s amazing to work daily with our highly skilled team. Everyone is so at ease with one another, and we are all very trusting of each individual’s strengths and talents. Avnan has built a culture of positivity that truly instils a sense of confidence that there is no challenge that can’t be overcome.

What is your favourite way to unwind outside of work?

Aside from spending time with family, I really enjoy cooking (cleaning up my mess afterwards is another story!). I’ve been fortunate to visit many beautiful places in the world, but there are still a lot more on the bucket list. I’m also an avid golfer and tennis player.

What advice would you give someone just starting at Avnan?

I would suggest to them to take advantage of the deep experience our team has and soak up as much information as they can. But that doesn’t mean that there isn’t room for continuous improvement. If they see an exposure or a better way to do something, don’t be afraid to bring it up.
