Avnan Team On-the-Ground at Industry Trade Shows

As COVID restrictions ease and business operations begin normalizing to pre-COVID mode, attendance at trade shows are starting to pick up. This is great news for companies like Avnan who rely on in-person tradeshow events to meet current clients, connect with new ones and stay updated on the latest development in the industry.

AHR Expo in Las Vegas, January 31 – February 2
In 2021, the organizers put the event on hold due to the pandemic but this year, it was resumed with caution. The AHR Expo is one of the biggest shows in the HVAC industry, this event was attended by hundreds of OEMs, engineers, contractors, facility operators, architects, educators and other industry professionals from all over the world to discuss, explore and share ideas on the latest industry trends and applications of HVAC technology.

Avnan’s presence at the AHR Expo in 2022 was a chance to reconnect with current clients and meet new prospects. The team was excited to meet with like-minded industry experts and thought leaders in the HVAC space to learn more about the latest innovation that can be applied and implemented to their projects. Next year’s event will be held in Atlanta, Georgia in early 2023. We hope to be in attendance then as well.

CMPX Expo in Toronto, March 23 – 25
This past March, the engineering and sales team at Avnan attended the CMPX (Canadian Mechanical and Plumbing Expo) in Toronto. With over 500 exhibitors, the show is one of the largest in North America that caters to the HVACR and plumbing industries. Attendees include engineers, plumbers, HVACR & mechanical contractors, installers, technicians, wholesalers, architects, building managers, renovators, specifiers, government personnel, manufacturers reps and retailers.

It’s the ideal event for sourcing products, information, equipment and applications and learning about the latest trends and emerging technologies. The show also covered business matters including how to increase earning potential, impact of changes to industry regulations, staying engaged in the workplace and more. “Signature events like this in Canada allow us to come face-to-face with potential clients and partners and keep up with the latest trends so we can continue to deliver the best possible service and expertise” says Allan Read, COO of Avnan.

Vacuum and Sewing Dealers Trade Conference in Las Vegas, April 20-22
The Vacuum and Sewing Dealers Association hosted their annual VDTA SDTA Tradeshow and Convention event in Las Vegas this month. This 3-day event dedicated to floor care, sewing and quilting retailers hosted 58 exhibitors and produced 47 sessions moderated by 30 presenters. Topics ranged from sales and distribution to panel discussions on CVACs (Central vacuum) state of the industry.

Paul Chamourian, one of Avnan’s key account managers, was on site to meet with clients and to learn about the latest industry updates. Avnan is a key partner of CVAC manufacturers and dealers that designs and supplies the electronic control boards used inside central vacuum canisters and supply power cords, switches, and circuit breakers for the systems. Avnan also builds the electronics inside the hose handles.
